Support Staff

Supervisors:
Each RCI site has a Supervisor for every five or six classroom groups and one for the Program Service Office. The Supervisors’ jobs are to keep quality high, and they do this by communicating with and responding to the needs of every child, parent and staff member. Supervisors have various academic backgrounds, but they all possess many years of experience in the classroom and running the floor. They assess and evaluate staff performance, and conduct regular team planning meetings for their respective sites and program divisions. Discussion includes brainstorming and exchanging curriculum ideas, and problem-solving areas of need. Supervisors then meet with Directors every month to clarify and define Center goals.

Program Service Staff:

Service to children and families is at the heart of all we do, and the personnel in the front office work hard to maintain records and keep the Center running smoothly. They handle hundreds of phone calls per day, while managing numerous other aspects of record-keeping and updated communication between the Center staff, enrolled families, and the general community. The Program Service team members also provide various support and secretarial services to the RCI administrators.

Bookkeeper:

Our day-to-day finances are managed by a trained professional with over 20 years of experience, including specialized reporting for non-profit organizations.

Facilities Manager: This member of the RCI Team keeps the building and grounds in tip-top shape, through personal, hands-on effort, or by oversight of outside service companies.

Chef:

The Center’s Nutrition Program is thoughtfully implemented with quality menus and preparation. The Chef procures, plans, and prepares the wonderful foods and menus each day.

Nurse:

RCI employs a part-time nurse to oversee the Health & Safety procedures and inspections at the Center, check up on children’s health issues, and train staff in important health and safety areas.

Driver/Porter:

Our team includes driver(s) with NYS driver's license to transport children to and from public schools and field trips.  The driver also takes care of the facility.
