Educating the Leaders of Tomorrow…
Beginning Today!
We believe that children need to learn and experience specific,
purposeful values and actions in order to integrate the qualities
of leadership very early into their lives.
For that reason, our curriculum is designed to foster decision-making
and interactive skills at every level of development, from the first
day a child enters our programs.
Young children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical capacities
develop rapidly when they can use materials freely and exercise
their own judgments. Our learning environment promotes investigation,
making choices, cooperation, persistence and problem solving. Our
guidance includes helping children to understand the natural outcomes
and consequences of their choices and actions so that they can think
ahead and plan for the next activity or event. They become capable
of involving others in a productive, meaningful way.
Children use these capacities daily in the classroom and in the
home. They develop the essential skills they will carry into their
later school years and into adulthood. Children become actively
engaged with people, materials, and ideas. They learn to plan their
own activities, carry them out and relay information back to their
teachers and their peers in an articulate manner. These children
become the leaders of tomorrow.
