Periodic trips for children ages 4 and up are planned in conjunction with our curriculum focus. At the present time, RCI has a DOT-inspected mini-bus and mini-van to use for trips. Children may only be transported by a driver who holds a special DMV issued “Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)”, and who has been trained to drive this specialized vehicle. Parents must provide appropriate car seats and any admission fees.

This option adds a special experiential element to the children’s lives. Field trips to the library, firehouse, bowling alley, theater, circus, etc. have all been taken by children enrolled at the present RCI sites.
