Our mission is to provide children with the early educational skills and ability to challenge assumptions and make thoughtful decisions that will help them to become productive adult leaders who will make positive changes in the world. Children are encouraged to actively use creative representation, language and logic to achieve decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Many of our early graduates tell us that this supported approach to gaining these competencies helped them to succeed throughout their school and young adult work-life activities. Our mission also promotes innovations for quality in family life, staff education and worth, and community / economic development.

Literally hundreds of people have contributed work and resources to make our new Huntington, Long Island home a reality-staff, elected and civic leaders, members of the community, and parents who believed as we do: that the best experiences during the early childhood years are vital to enduring joy and achievement.
